Fireworks last night were amazing! It's been so long since I last saw fireworks and this was the best reintroduction! We left after Sam got back from work, met up with a friend of hers and went for dinner at a Greek restaurant - food was excellent (apparently, I'm not allergic to salmon), but I think I burnt the roof of my mouth, cos it's really sore... Downtown was so incredibly packed with people, but the atmosphere was great! Everything was so much fun and I wish I could be here for it every year.
Today we went across the river to Fort Langley - last minute decision and it was great fun! I've got photos of old buildings and odd little shops and plenty of the scenery! (typical 'me' photos - no people!!) It was a really good day and fun spending it with Sam's parents. There were three weddings while we were in Fort Langley, so we spent some time people-watching - my mum would've enjoyed it so much!
Tomorrow's BC Day and I don't think anything's planned - well, not yet! :)
