Update on a very quiet month... for me at least!

Ummm... well, in date order, I think the next thing to happen was that I took Monday the 10th off work - and that was fantastic! A 4-day weekend is a luxury we all deserve once in a while! 11 November is a holiday here and Sam's parents went to IKEA so I tagged along, cos I've never been (lovely excuse to go places don't you think?!). And - I would move here just so that I can go to IKEA!! There are lots of fantastic house and home stores, but I was really impressed with the way IKEA put it all together and showed you how a teeny tiny 10-ft square apartment could be liveable!! And how's this for a self-help section:

It's really well organised - it would have to be, but those shelves are kinda scary the first time you see them!

Bye-bye IKEA!!

So Lovely Lazy Days and back to work on Wednesday - only to discover that there was no power in our building, so another day off work! But it did make it very difficult on Thursday to get back into the working frame of mind! So last week was just a 2-day work-week :)

On Saturday I went to the nursery with Sam's parents and guess what I found there?!!!
I mean, duh! It is me!! She was really cute and was only too happy to be petted - she chased me down the path when I walked away from her! Kinda reminded me of Mr Mistoffoles... So about 40 minutes of the day was spent talking to the cat...

I know it seems like I've skipped lots and lots, but I really haven't - I just haven't done much in the last two weeks!

And I just had to take another photo of Mt Baker all lit up in the sun last weekend! Doesn't it look pretty?

I've had a few meandering walks round the neighbourhood - when it isn't raining and pitch black... And I found the funniest thing the one day:

Ge, this is just for you!

And Garf, this is for you....

You know I think I might be getting a little carried away with the photo aspect of this... Ah well, shame, hey?! :)
