Something that continually surprises me about life here, is that people happily have conversations on buses and trains - I heard some guy trying to organise for his mum and his girlfriend's mum to meet. And it's not like I had to really concentrate to hear him or anything - he was sitting right behind me. Then there are the people on the train who get on the train, pull out their cellphone and spend the next 45 minutes chatting to someone - who is this person on the other end who has 45 minutes to spend on a phonecall at 8 o'clock in the morning?!
I seem to be doing quite well at updating this, but I don't think it's going to last very long - especially as I actually managed to send out a general email!!
I think this is going to be another veeerryyy long week - I get disheartened each time I realise that it's only Tuesday - it feels like it should be Thursday, at least! I haven't slept well the past two nights, so I am hoping to fix that tonight - definitely hoping. Especially as tomorrow's going to be quite busy. As are the next 3 weeks... Today is one calendar month till my last day at work - I couldn't believe it. It's gone so quickly.
