New homes

People keep asking how I ended up in Swansea and I have to list the moves that lead me here. 

In that moment, it feels like too many moves: 5 times in 6 years. 

Then I have to remind myself that it's not unusual for the UK markets. 

It is difficult for me because even while I moved in and out of "home", my folks had that house for 24 years. The "home base" was consistent. 

I look back at some of the photos and I miss different things about different places. 

Shepperton feels like I imagined it. 

I definitely miss the Howick house that was finally the way we (mostly me!) wanted it. 

As always, as soon as the kitchen was done, the move was triggered!!
