I have contacts!! Still trying to figure out if it's a good idea or not, but trying to adjust to not having glasses is weird!
We stopped off to try to get my broken glasses fixed - not a problem, they fixed them quickly and minimum fuss. Next thing I know I'm having an eye test with a view to getting contacts! Quick lesson on how to put the lenses in and out (yikes!) and trying to get used to them all day. Major headaches ensued, because it's also a new prescription, but I want contacts, so I'm going to make this work!! Just kinda forgot that I now need sunglasses... Had to wear my mother's on the way home - never again! :)
