I had a minor epiphany while making my bed (mostly in light of my repeated comments on facebook):
I miss Vancouver (that's not the epiphany!) but I have decided that I am going to have a life in SA. And until I get to the "sell my soul" point, I am going to (try to) shut up about how much I miss Vancouver. From now on, it's taken as given. And I will make a concerted effort not to keep harping on about how I'm in the wrong country, miss where I belong, etc, etc.
And I still have to catch up on news from the last 4 months, but now is not really the time.
... ;)

I think that this is a brilliant plan. No point in missing out on things while you're working up to moving out here :)
